Design Build Construction
in Scottsdale, Phoenix & Paradise Valley, AZ
What Is Design-Build Construction?
In design-build construction, we assist you through your entire remodeling process, from beginning to end.
We are the single source of accountability for the whole project. This makes communication and decision making more efficient.
Your project would be guided though the maze of complex decisions involved in the design development process by or expert team.Â
This is called the preconstruction phase, and it sets your construction or remodeling project up for success.
- Design ideas and goals are discussed
- Project feasibility is analyzed
- Construction cost budgets are set
- Permitting and zoning is reviewed
- Timelines are defined
From there we would prepare a formal scope of work, proposal, and contract for the project.
If we agree upon the contract terms, the construction phase begins. We manage and build the project to meet your needs and specifications.
In the event you change some things, or we discover an unforeseen challenge, the design build process is nimble. We can typically implement additions to the project or changes efficiently.

Who Is Involved In The Process?
We view the design-build collaboration as a true partnership, with shared goals and a team spirit. We work together toward a successful outcome for your remodeling or construction project.
These stakeholders are integral to the success of your project. We communicate key concerns to them, and engage their input early in the design build process:
- Designers, either in-house or independent designers
- Architect, if necessary
- Project manager & estimator
- Material suppliers
- Carpenters
- Plumbers, electricians, HVAC contractors
- Other subcontractors
- City building & zoning officials
- Structural engineers, if necessary
This communication and early involvement of all parties is called integrated design or integrated project delivery. In our view it is the best method to deliver a successful project with great outcomes.

Construction & Design Drawings.
Your Phoenix & Scottsdale area design-build construction project will likely require plans & drawings. Your input and involvement is critical during this stage of the project.Â
Project Construction LLC can provide the necessary construction drawings, plans, and 3d design for your design-build project.
We draw them in-house using Chief Architect home design software, or we work with an architect.Â
If you’ve already hired an architect or designer to draw plans, we can typically work from them, provided they are sufficiently descriptive and satisfy permitting requirements.Â
Whether we provide the drawings or you do, we immerse ourselves in your project design and specifications.
