This project currently under construction features a 925 square foot addition on a 1960’s mid century ranch home in Scottsdale, making it much more livable and modern.

The home addition adds a 4th bedroom with an ensuite bathroom and two walk-in closets. This new owner’s suite is a significant upgrade from the original primary suite that was in use, which has a small bathroom. The original primary bedroom is now a perfect guest bedroom suite.

Completing the new space is a large 385 square foot covered patio, which provides ample shade and space for relaxing or socializing.

Ranch Home Addition in Scottsdale

This home extension project is currently under construction. The foundation, framing, exterior siding, roof, insulation, HVAC, and most of the interior are complete. The interior finishing touches currently are being completed.

We designed and built the entire home addition, which also included extensive home remodeling of the existing house. The design and preconstruction services included construction drawings, 3d design images, and obtaining the necessary home addition building permit from the City of Scottsdale.

Kitchen Addition

The expanded and remodeled kitchen and dining area create a much more open and spacious area for cooking and entertaining.

Large windows and an 8′ patio door provide an abundance of light. Exposed wood beams create a warm and modern feel, while providing a sense of separation of the spaces.

The kitchen design was inspired by mid century modern design. The cabinets are minimal, with slab front drawer cabinets making up most of the cabinets and kitchen island.

Laundry Room Addition

A 12′ x 14′ laundry room and pantry adds generous storage and an additional sink. Completing the new space is a large 385 square foot covered patio, which provides ample shade and space for relaxing or socializing.
